This week we supplied Sardine (Sardinops melanostictus) to one Japanese aquarium.
At this time we brought 4,000 pcs by one live fish truck.
We started moving the truck in the early morning like 4 AM because it took 400 km (250 miles) from our facility to the aquarium and they asked us to supply at 11 am at the aquarium.
When we arrived at the aquarium, the sardine were in very good condition.
And the aquarium were happy to see the sardine. Sardine is very sensitive fish. It easily gets hurt and lost many scales from its body, sometimes by stress.
We carefully handled with them from our truck to the initial tank.
After the sardine were in the main tank, they started schooling. It means they didn’t have much stress by the long transportation.
Thank you for our driver, too.
